Jill studied mathematics and education at the University of Southern Maine and graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and Education. After college, Jill decided to go backpacking overseas. What was supposed to be a three month international backpacking trip turned into two year adventure and a newfound passion for exploring the world and talking to strangers. Her volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity in Bangladesh and teaching English to children in Cambodia were highlights among the many character building experiences she cultivated. Most recently, she worked as a Case Manager for a Mental Health Agency in Portland, Oregon. While living in Portland, she developed the skills for hula hooping, juggling, and fire spinning. What started as a hobby turned into a side profession. She teaches circus arts and yoga both internationally and locally. Jill currently resides in coastal Maine where she tutors through the internet and is building a student base locally. Her passion for teaching and her love of problem solving have always been present throughout her life endeavors. Being an avid traveler and adventurous spirit, Jill is often scheming of ways to escape to warm climates and sunny beaches with fresh tropical fruit in exotic places.
